About Us

Little Explorers will be held in a basement apartment.  This apartment's main use and function is for preschool.  There will be a fire extinguisher, smoke detectors, safety locks on all necessary cabinets, and a lock on the front door.

All staff will be background checked, CPR certified and trained in our emergency exit plan.  

​

Pick-up and drop off will be on 400 W all the way to the north end of the front property.  Cars will pull forward to the electricity pole and follow behind- making sure not to block any driveway, other than the driveway to the property.   Please do not exit the car, as this will impede the process. I will help the child exit/enter the car in turn.  Each student will then enter the preschool as an aide will be waiting to welcome them.

We will serve a snack every day.  Each student will have an opportunity every other month to bring snack.  The students will be able to share a favorite snack and others will be able to try new things.  If your child has allergies, we will accommodate accordingly.

Each day we will be participating in various arts and crafts.  Some of these may be messy.  I will provide paint shirts when needed, however be aware that preschool can be messy.  Sometimes a mess means it was more fun!
